It is well recognised that interventions and use of medications used during labour & birth impact on the early initiation of breastfeeding. After a gentle, unmedicated birth, babies do not have to be taught how to breastfeed. When left skin to skin on the mother's chest following a natural birth, babies can follow their own instincts & self attach to the breast as nature intended. This is the beginning of an amazing relationship between mother & baby.

Christine trained as a nurse & midwife in the UK. She has a Graduate Diploma in Childbirth Education, is a Certified HypnoBirthing Practitioner, and was the first in Malaysia to qualify as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. She is passionate in her endeavours to help mothers achieve as natural a birth as possible & to breastfeed their babies. To this end she has been working with expectant & new parents in Ma laysia for more than 20 years & with breastfeeding mothers for over 25 years.

Christine & her husband (who is a practising obstetrician) have 3 children & 1 baby grandson.
